Mizu at The Conservatory

Back after 3 years for The Conservatory’s 3rd anniversary, and they’re better than ever! Mumbai’s favourite izakaya returns to Bangalore with a brand-new menu, born from the Mizu team’s travels across Japan and interpreted with bold, Indian-accented flavours.

About Chef Lakhan

Chef Lakhan Jethani has been quietly reimagining Japanese food through an Indian lens, bold in flavour, rooted in strong technique, and always a little unexpected. At Mizu, his intimate izakaya in Mumbai, the focus is on slow, memorable meals.

The world’s taking notice too, Mizu was ranked No.12 on the Condé Nast Traveller Restaurant Awards 2024, awarded 3 Ultimate Stars by Culinary Culture, and Chef Lakhan was named No.19 on FoodSuperstars’ list of India’s Top 30 Chefs.

About the meal

Expect signature plates like the Fatty Tuna Taru Taru with 62° yolk sauce, fire-grilled scallops in mentaiko butter, comforting chawanmushi, and a Milk Tea Parfait that ends the meal on a sweet, nostalgic note.

Chef Lakhan Jethani brings his award-winning, deeply personal take on Japanese food to The Conservatory for just six services! The regular set menu has 8 courses for everyone to enjoy.

Want to go next level? The Chef’s Table is a 10-course feast (non-vegetarian only) for those ready to dive deeper.
